Dr. Debdeep Saha is a prominent researcher who is currently working as an Assistant Professor as well as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology, which is one of the prestigious Universities in the North East. He is also acting as the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs. He has been awarded with a Ph.D degree in Power and Energy Systems in the year 2019 from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, in the Department of Electrical Engineering. His current research interests include – Power System Optimization & Control, Renewable Energy Systems, Autonomous Hybrid Power System & Smart Grid, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. Till date 20 numbers of Research Papers has got Published in the National and International Journals and Conferences.

He is actively involved in the Outcome based education system and has acted as Programme Coordinator for the process of National Board of Accreditation.

He is also a reviewer of Power & Energy System of reputed Journals like –
